Salmon Family

I was so excited when Mrs. Salmon contacted me about doing pictures for them. I love doing pictures, but this was the first time that someone I didn't know before contacted me about doing pictures for them. I had a lot of fun, and this was a great experience for me! :)

Announcement

So, along with taking graduation pictures for Anne, she had me do her announcement as well. I was way happy with the outcome, they looked really good! I hope she liked them too. They were some of the first announcements I had designed, printed, and everything. What d'ya think? :)

Anne

As the end of the year approaches, the semester is coming to a close. And so also nears Graduation. My friend Anne asked if I could get "one good picture" of her that she could send out as/with an announcement for her graduation. I think we got at least one ;)

I was worried when I saw the forecast on weather.com as it gave a 100% chance of precipitation (in this case snow). But, since there was only a small window in which we both could get together to take some pictures, we went out in the weather anyway despite the forecast (I'm pretty sure that Anne was just humoring me, but that's ok with me). I think that the snow makes for kind of fun pictures.

Anyways, I had fun taking these pictures. And just I love using pictures as an excuse to see old friends. I think that Anne could be a model!

Working at the County Fair: Exhibits

Another big part of fair is all of the exhibits that are entered. People enter things that they have made into the fair in hopes of winning awards and a little cash. I was surprised at how much money you can win if you enter a variety of things you do well, and do anyway. Here are some of the exhibits that were on display in our main hall.

And again, I was the one that printed the item tags that went on every single exhibit that was entered. If you look at the pictures of the whole room, you will realize that is a lot of tags!

The blanket was made and entered by yours truly. I won a blue ribbon and $3. Oh yeah :)

Working at the County Fair: Animal Shows

A big part of Fair is all of the animals coming in to compete and be judged. We had pretty much everything from ducks and geese to pigs and cattle. There was even a Pocket Pet show featuring guinea pigs and hermit crabs. Here's just a sampling of what went on at the animal shows this year. To check out the pocket pet pictures you can visit one of my earlier posts here.

I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking 'em!

Oh yeah, and those back tags you see all the kids wearin', yeah, that was me, I printed all of those ;)
